Drones

How is BT-300 used with a drone?

The Epson BT-300 is used as a First Person View (FPV) drone piloting accessory.

The BT-300 allows you to view the live camera feed from your drone, telemetry data and your drone simultaneously. This allows you to keep Visual Line of Sight with your drone and is a safer and more enjoyable way to fly.

What is the difference between the BT-300 and a smartphone to pilote a drone?

The BT-300 connects to your drone in the same way as a smartphone or tablet but thanks to its advanced see-through display, the pilot can see the live drone camera feed, telemetry data and drone simultaneously for a unique FPV experience.

Smartphone displays suffer from glare in outdoor environments and the display becomes washed out. You also have to look up and down to switch between viewing your drone and viewing the camera/telemetry data.

The BT-300 provides a clear image in all brightness conditions thanks to the shade accessories and allows you to keep Visual Line of Sight with your drone at all times and is a safer and more enjoyable way to fly.

What drone piloting applications are compatible with BT-300?

DJI GO, DJI GO 4, Epson AR Flight Simulator, Epson Drone Soar, Pix4DCapture, DronePrix AR and more.

Please just be cautious when new DJI products are launched because it may take some time for the latest app to be available on the Moverio Apps Market. Please check the application version and its supported drones for the latest compatibility.

Other drone manufacturers are not currently supported. If the customer’s drone can output a video feed via HMDI or USB Type-C (generally professional drones), the BT-35E can be used.

How do I connect BT-300 with the drone?

Lost / Broken shades, where can I find a new one?

This is a spare part and should be purchased via the service/spare parts team. If it has broken during the warranty period, it should be replaced free of charge.

I can't install the app from the Moverio apps Market .

Please check the install procedure on the Epson support website click here.

Check that the device is connected to the internet and there is enough storage space on the device. Sometimes the download can be slow or unavailable, please try again later. Also try restarting the device.
